Latest National Weather Service guidance shows sunny skies and highs in the mid-90s for Atlanta on September 14 under a strong high-pressure ridge promoting clear conditions and intense solar heating. Light northerly winds and low humidity will support efficient daytime warming above the 84°F historical average high, while model consensus places peak readings near 94°F with limited afternoon mixing. The near-even split between 92-93°F and 94-95°F buckets reflects ensemble spread in exact maximum timing and boundary-layer details, with traders weighing official point forecasts against typical verification adjustments of 1-2°F at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.
