Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and major models show Atlanta’s overnight low on September 2 settling in the mid-70s, driven by a warm, humid air mass, light winds, and clear skies that limit radiational cooling after daytime highs near 97 °F. Historical September averages near 69 °F are exceeded due to the ongoing heat pattern, while model spreads in dew-point and boundary-layer mixing create tight clustering among 74–77 °F outcomes. Traders price the 74–75 °F bin highest at 49.5 % as the most probable resolution given current guidance, with uncertainty narrowing as the night progresses toward official station readings.
