Recent National Weather Service forecasts show a northerly flow behind a cold front expected to deliver clear to partly cloudy skies over New York City on September 19, supporting a minimum temperature in the low-to-mid 60s°F. This aligns with the closely matched market-implied odds clustered at 60–65°F, reflecting model consensus on radiational cooling under light northeast winds and dew points falling into the mid-40s. The pattern follows typical late-September climatology, with an average low near 60.5°F, though slight variations in cloud cover or wind speed could shift the overnight low by 1–2°F. Updated model runs and official observations through the 18th remain the key variables for traders.
