**Forecast consensus from multiple models positions 17°C as the clear favorite for Helsinki’s highest temperature on September 14, 2026.** Current runs (GFS, ECMWF, and others) indicate a building high-pressure ridge with partly cloudy skies, light northerly winds, and dry conditions that support daytime highs of 16–18°C. Official and commercial forecasts cluster tightly around 16–17°C (roughly 61–63°F), consistent with the market’s 63.5% implied probability on 17°C and secondary support for 16°C and 18°C. Historical climatology for mid-September shows average highs near 15.7°C, so the current pattern represents a modest positive anomaly driven by reduced cloud cover and minimal advection of cooler maritime air. Model agreement is high with limited spread, and no major shifts have appeared in the latest 24–48 hours; resolution hinges on final observed maximum at the Helsinki station under standard WMO criteria. Traders are pricing the tight forecast envelope rather than outlier scenarios.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=efhk
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
