Recent National Weather Service-aligned forecasts for Denver on September 14 point to a high near 87°F under isolated thunderstorms and increasing afternoon cloud cover, driving the market's close consensus on 86–89°F outcomes. This reflects a modest cooldown from the prior day's potential near 93°F, tempered by southeasterly flow, modest moisture, and convective development that limits full solar heating. Historical September averages hover around 80°F, but the current warm pattern supports upper-80s potential if storms remain isolated and timing favors peak afternoon readings. Key variables include thunderstorm initiation and duration per updated model runs, plus official NWS Denver observations that will determine the recorded maximum.
