Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance points to a high temperature in the mid-to-upper 60s°F for Seattle on September 14, following a rainy Sunday with southerly flow and substantial cloud cover. Persistent marine influence from the Pacific, combined with lingering moisture and limited insolation, is expected to moderate daytime warming below the 71°F climatological average for the date. Afternoon clearing or partial sun could allow modest additional heating, while any delay in cloud dissipation or stronger onshore winds would cap the peak closer to 64–66°F. Traders appear to weigh these variables evenly, with upcoming model runs and NWS updates likely to sharpen the distribution across the tightly bunched 64–73°F outcomes.
