Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a daily maximum near 89°F for Miami on September 16 under mostly sunny skies with easterly flow at 10-15 mph and afternoon thunderstorm chances around 40-70%. This positions the 90-91°F bin as the market leader by supporting modest afternoon heating before convection develops, while 88-89°F remains competitive if storms initiate earlier or cloud cover increases. Typical early-fall humidity near 70-80% and heat indices above 100°F favor the upper end of the 86-91°F cluster, consistent with historical September maxima around 88-90°F absent tropical influences. Updated model runs and NHC/NOAA briefings through the evening will refine timing of any sea-breeze or thunderstorm activity that could cap or boost the peak.
