Official National Weather Service observations at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport recorded a minimum temperature of 57°F on September 1, 2026, reached around 6:25 a.m. under partly cloudy skies with no precipitation and light southerly winds. This value aligned closely with the 1991–2020 normal low of 56°F and reflected stable early-autumn conditions before an incoming Pacific storm increased cloud cover and moisture later in the week. Trader consensus heavily favored the 56–57°F bin because verified station data eliminated most forecast uncertainty. A measurement discrepancy at an alternate site or post-event data revision could theoretically shift resolution, though such changes remain rare for NWS daily summaries.
