Recent passage of a cool Pacific cold front has introduced marine air and elevated dew points near 52–55°F, anchoring trader consensus on 52–53°F as the most probable overnight low for Seattle on September 3. National Weather Service and NOAA model guidance consistently project lows in the lower to mid-50s amid lingering showers and light southwesterly flow that limits radiational cooling. Historical September averages near 55°F provide context, yet the front’s timing and persistent cloud cover create modest downside risk to the 50–51°F bin. Resolution hinges on official Sea-Tac observations through the night, with any clearing potentially allowing brief further drops before dawn.
