Recent forecast model runs from Environment Canada and other agencies show a southerly flow advecting warmer, humid air into the Toronto region on September 2, supporting daily highs clustered near 28–29°C amid partly cloudy skies and a 30% chance of showers or thunderstorms. These conditions, slightly above the late-summer climatological average of 24°C, reflect modest ridging and limited cloud cover that allows daytime heating while moisture and instability may cap extreme peaks through evaporative cooling or early convection. Ensemble spreads introduce uncertainty between 27°C and 30°C depending on exact timing of any showers, with official updates expected from Environment Canada before resolution. Market-implied odds align closely with this guidance, reflecting trader assessment of the narrow range of probable outcomes.
