Recent AtlasIntel and Quaest surveys show a tight three-way contest for Ceará’s two Senate seats, with Luizianne Lins, incumbent Cid Gomes, and Capitão Wagner separated by just a few points in the low-to-mid 20s. This narrow spread sustains market equilibrium around second place, as any of the three could finish ahead or behind depending on turnout among aligned voters in Fortaleza and interior strongholds. Official party conventions have now locked in the full field, including lower-polling names such as Alcides Fernandes and Guilherme Theophilo, limiting late entry upside. With the October 4 vote still weeks away, modest shifts in coalition messaging or regional mobilization could reorder the middle of the pack without altering the overall competitive structure.
