Republican incumbent Jeff Crank, who won the seat in 2024, faces Democratic nominee Jessica Killin in Colorado's 5th District general election on November 3, 2026. The district, anchored in Colorado Springs, maintains a Republican lean with a Cook Partisan Voting Index around R+5 and has never elected a Democrat. Forecasters rate the race Likely Republican following Crank's unopposed primary and Killin's June 30 victory. While the area shows gradual leftward demographic movement, the incumbent's position and partisan makeup underpin the 70% Republican implied probability, with Democratic chances at 29% reflecting limited crossover potential in this midterm cycle.
