Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate persistent high pressure and southerly flow will deliver sunny conditions and highs near 100°F across north Texas on September 7, driving the market's strong weighting toward the 98–101°F bins. Light winds and dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s will support efficient daytime heating with heat indices above 105°F, while the lack of cloud cover or moisture limits any cooling. This setup sits well above the early-September climatological average of 92°F and aligns with the ongoing warm pattern observed through early September. Updated model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion remain the key near-term variables that could shift implied probabilities if guidance trends cooler or warmer.
