**Forecast models for Jeddah on September 10, 2026, indicate a daily maximum near 36–38°C under typical late-summer conditions along the Red Sea coast.** Westerly winds of 3–6 m/s, partly cloudy skies, and high humidity (around 40–60% during peak heating) moderate the heat while dew points near 20–25°C keep conditions muggy. Recent days have seen maxima of 36–38.4°C, aligning with the September climatological average high near 37–38°C. The tight clustering of market-implied odds between 37°C (34.5%) and 38°C (38.0%), with 39°C or higher at 18.5%, reflects small but meaningful differences across model runs: slight variations in afternoon cloud cover, wind timing, or boundary-layer mixing can shift the peak by 1°C. Official resolution will depend on the precise daily maximum recorded at the primary station (likely Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport), where even modest forecast adjustments or local measurement timing can tip the outcome between the two leading bins. No significant synoptic changes are expected before the 24-hour window closes.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=oejn
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
