Recent meteorological guidance from multiple models indicates a daytime high of 15–16°C for Wellington on September 15 under partly cloudy skies and moderate northerly flow, positioning 16°C as the market favorite. This aligns with the upper end of the climatological September maximum near 12.5–13°C while remaining below the threshold for stronger warming. Limited model spread and stable conditions over the past 24 hours support the 64.5% implied probability for 16°C and the secondary 20% weighting on 15°C, with only modest odds on 17°C or higher. Updated National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) and international model runs expected later today could refine the exact peak if wind or cloud trends shift.

In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
