**Trader consensus centers on overnight lows in the low-20s Celsius for Wuhan on September 3, driven by a transient cool-air surge tied to typhoon remnants and enhanced northerly flow.** Official forecasts from the Wuhan Meteorological Observatory and multiple numerical models indicate a minimum near 21–23 °C under mostly cloudy skies with scattered light rain or showers, as a typhoon inverted trough and monsoon surge advect cooler maritime air southward while 3–6 m s⁻¹ northerly winds limit radiative warming overnight. Historical September climatology for the region places average minima around 23–25 °C, so the current pattern represents a modest negative anomaly. Model-to-model spread in boundary-layer moisture and exact timing of the wind shift produces the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 20–23 °C, while the modest probability attached to sub-18 °C outcomes reflects residual uncertainty should stronger advection or clearer skies develop. The next high-resolution model runs and local nowcasts expected overnight will likely tighten the range ahead of market resolution.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=zhhh
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
