Netanyahu’s corruption trial, involving charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust across three cases dating to his 2020 indictment, continues without a verdict as of September 2026. Judges have twice signaled serious evidentiary weaknesses in the sole bribery allegation tied to Case 4000, reiterating in June after Netanyahu’s 98 days of testimony that prosecutors should consider dropping it while leaving lesser counts intact. The defense has since pressed forward with additional witnesses, including a recent request to call former Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit shortly before scheduled elections. These developments, alongside the multi-year timeline, procedural delays, and Netanyahu’s political position, underpin trader consensus reflected in the 78.5% probability assigned to no conviction.
