**Québec Solidaire maintains concentrated support in several Montreal-area ridings, supporting strong expectations of retaining at least one seat despite province-wide polling around 7–10%.** The October 5, 2026 general election follows the August 27 writ, with QS defending incumbencies in ridings such as Gouin and Mercier while contesting others like Sainte-Marie–Saint-Jacques and Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. Seat projections from models including 338Canada and Poliwave place QS in the range of roughly 3–11 seats (most commonly 5–9), reflecting vote efficiency in urban francophone and progressive districts even as the party trails the PQ, CAQ, PLQ, and PCQ in overall popular vote. Recent polls show QS stable or slightly improved in some surveys amid a tightening PQ–CAQ race, with the party focusing campaign messaging on cost-of-living measures such as grocery profit caps. No major developments have emerged to threaten QS’s core ridings or eliminate its viability ahead of the 39-day campaign.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Québec solidaire (QS) wins at least one seat in the National Assembly of Quebec as a result of this election. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
This market's resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by candidates whose political affiliation is listed as the specified party in the official election results, not any coalition or parliamentary group of which the party may be part.
