Forecast models from major weather agencies project a daytime high near 100°F for Austin on September 13, driven by continued southerly winds, abundant low-level moisture, and limited cloud cover that will allow strong solar heating. This aligns with the market's leading 100-101°F outcome at 50.5% implied probability and the 98-99°F bin at 31.5%, as current runs show limited spread around that peak. The reading would sit well above the late-summer climatological average of roughly 92°F, reflecting an ongoing heat wave that has already produced similar values on September 12. Traders are watching the next National Weather Service update and any late adjustments from high-resolution models for signs of slight cooling or intensification before resolution on the official maximum.
