Current National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model guidance indicate Atlanta overnight lows on August 30 will likely settle near 70–72°F under partly cloudy skies, light southeast winds, and dew points holding in the low 70s that limit radiational cooling. Scattered showers or thunderstorms may increase cloud cover and further moderate temperature drops, while historical late-August climatology shows typical minima around 69°F. The closely bunched market probabilities around the 70–75°F bins reflect genuine uncertainty in exact minimums, driven by small variations in evening cloud trends and any late-day convection. Updated NWS point forecasts and next model cycles will provide the clearest signals ahead of resolution.
