This setup favors strong daytime heating through clear skies and subsidence, though sea-breeze convergence or isolated afternoon cumulus could cap peaks near 94–96°F rather than allowing full 98°F+ potential. Recent model runs show minimal spread, consistent with late-August climatology where Houston averages 94°F. The tight 94–97°F market clustering reflects trader focus on these subtle boundary-layer details ahead of the next NWS update.
