Current forecast models indicate overnight lows near 15–16°C for Cape Town on September 13, with daytime highs around 20–21°C under mostly cloudy skies and light showers or thunderstorms possible in the afternoon and evening. Southerly to easterly winds, elevated humidity above 70%, and a passing frontal system are maintaining temperatures well above the September climatological minimum of about 10°C. Minor model disagreements on exact wind shifts or rainfall timing introduce limited uncertainty in the precise overnight minimum, which aligns with the closely matched market-implied probabilities clustered around 14–16°C. Traders appear to weigh these stable, mild conditions against the chance of brief cooling if showers intensify overnight.
