Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate a cooler, drier air mass advecting into the Southeast behind a frontal passage, with northeast winds limiting daytime heating and keeping Atlanta's high on September 25 in the mid-to-upper 70s. Official guidance projects a mostly sunny peak near 79°F, below the late-September climatological average of about 81°F, though some runs allow for low-80s readings if skies clear faster. Trader probabilities cluster tightly around 74–79°F, reflecting minor uncertainties in boundary-layer mixing, exact wind speeds, and residual moisture. Updated short-range model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion will likely refine the precise maximum before resolution.
