Current ensemble forecasts from NOAA models indicate a persistent high-pressure ridge over Central Texas will limit cloud cover and radiative cooling, supporting overnight lows near 73–76°F for Austin on September 25 with low precipitation chances under easterly flow. This setup creates tight clustering around mid-70s values while allowing modest spread from variable boundary-layer moisture and wind speeds, which traders weigh against historical September minima near 65°F and recent above-normal warmth. With resolution hinging on the official daily minimum observation, upcoming GFS and ECMWF runs plus NWS local briefings will refine the implied probabilities for the coldest and warmest bins.
