Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other sources indicate a cooling trend for Atlanta on September 23 driven by easterly winds and increased cloud cover with a 30-60% chance of showers, limiting daytime heating after recent highs near 90°F. Consensus points to a maximum temperature in the upper 70s to low 80s Fahrenheit, with slight variations in precipitation timing and coverage across model runs creating uncertainty between the 78-81°F range. This aligns with trader-implied odds favoring those bins amid typical late-September variability, where afternoon convection and steering patterns can shift the daily peak by a few degrees. Updated model guidance and observations through the morning will refine resolution criteria for the exact high.
