**Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and multiple models point to a minimum temperature in the mid-60s°F for Atlanta on September 23, driven by a shift from unseasonably warm southerly flow to cooler easterly winds and increased cloud cover from showers.** This transition follows several days of highs in the upper 80s to low 90s, with the incoming air mass bringing seasonable conditions typical for late September (historical average low near 63°F). Key variables include overnight cloud thickness, which limits radiational cooling, and any rainfall timing that could hold temperatures above or push them below the 63°F threshold. Model consensus currently favors lows of 64–69°F, creating balanced market-implied odds around the tails as traders weigh the exact cooling magnitude ahead of final observations.
