Current National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance for Seattle on September 23 projects a daily minimum near 50°F, driven by moderate radiational cooling under increasing cloud cover and light southerly flow with marine air influence from Puget Sound. Recent observations show overnight lows in the upper 40s to mid-50s amid typical late-summer patterns, with no strong cold-air advection or clear-sky extremes anticipated before resolution. Forecast uncertainty remains modest this close to the date, though small shifts in cloud timing or wind could nudge the minimum a few degrees either way; climatological September averages place Seattle lows around 50–53°F. Next NWS forecast updates and high-resolution model runs will provide the final calibration.
