**Northeast winds and persistent cloud cover from a stable high-pressure pattern are keeping New York City temperatures well below seasonal averages, with National Weather Service forecasts calling for a Wednesday high near 65–66°F under mostly cloudy skies.** Model consensus from recent runs shows minimal warming potential through the 23rd as cool air continues advecting from the north, with low-level northeasterly flow and gusts to 25–30 mph limiting daytime heating. This aligns with the market’s strong consensus around 66–67°F while capping upside risk above 69°F and supporting modest probability for 64–65°F if clouds thicken further. Updated model guidance and NWS briefings through Tuesday evening will be the key near-term catalysts.
