Recent National Weather Service and NOAA model consensus points to a mostly cloudy Wednesday with a 15-20% chance of afternoon thunderstorms and highs in the mid to upper 70s, anchoring trader probabilities around 76-79°F. Limited solar heating from cloud cover, combined with light easterly to southerly flow rather than strong downslope warming, keeps the ceiling in check while preventing sharp cooling. September climatology for Denver shows average highs near 76°F, so the current setup sits close to normal with modest upside risk if skies clear more than expected. Updated model runs and official NWS briefings in the next 24-48 hours will likely refine the exact maximum and shift positioning among the closely bunched central outcomes.
