Multiple numerical weather prediction models show tight agreement on peak readings near this level, with minimal spread and no signals of stronger warming aloft or reduced cloud cover that could push values to 26°C or above. Historical May climatology places average highs around 15–16°C, making today's conditions an outlier driven by transient high pressure, yet still well short of records that would alter resolution. Traders appear to have rapidly incorporated the latest model runs, leaving little room for upside surprise before evening observations finalize the daily maximum.
