United Russia maintains a commanding lead in the 2026 Mordovian State Assembly election, scheduled for September 18–20 alongside the head of republic vote and national Duma contests, due to its long-standing dominance in the region. The party secured 67 percent of the vote and 42 of 48 seats in 2021 under the mixed electoral system of party lists and single-member districts, with similar results in prior cycles. Incumbent Head Artyom Zdunov, backed by United Russia, faces registered challengers from CPRF, LDPR, A Just Russia, and New People, yet no major shifts in registration, campaigning, or local dynamics have altered the established pattern of strong regional support for the ruling party. Trader consensus reflects this structural advantage, though outcomes remain subject to standard electoral variables such as turnout and candidate performance in constituencies.
