This market will resolve to “Yes” if Benjamin Netanyahu ceases to be Prime Minister of Israel for any period of time between market creation and the specified date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announcement of Benjamin Netanyahu's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Benjamin Netanyahu and the government of Israel; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Netanyahu’s position as Israel’s prime minister hinges on the October 27, 2026 Knesset election and subsequent coalition negotiations.** Recent polls show his Likud-led right-wing bloc holding roughly 51–54 seats, short of the 61-seat majority needed to govern, while opposition parties led by Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar and others hover near or slightly above that threshold in a fragmented field. Ongoing military operations in Gaza, lingering security concerns from prior conflicts, and Netanyahu’s ongoing corruption trial continue to shape voter sentiment and coalition dynamics. Post-election talks could extend into December or beyond, raising the chance of either a narrow right-wing retention, a unity government, or a shift that removes him from office. Traders weigh these parliamentary arithmetic and alliance prospects when assessing timelines for any leadership change.
