National Weather Service forecasts for Dallas on September 16 point to sunny skies and a daily high near 100°F, supported by southerly winds of 5–10 mph and heat indices reaching 105°F amid a persistent warm pattern. This aligns with recent model consensus showing minimal cloud cover or precipitation that could moderate temperatures, though slight variations in timing or boundary-layer moisture introduce uncertainty around the precise peak. The 98–99°F bin leads market-implied odds at 60.5% over 100–101°F at 28.5%, reflecting trader weighting of ensemble guidance and historical September variability where highs have reached 102°F but average closer to 89.5°F. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon observations will refine resolution as the day progresses.
