Recent showers through April 3-5 have capped highs at 25-27°C, fostering caution despite brighter periods expected midweek and an above-normal April temperature outlook. Differentiating factors include cloud-induced suppression of solar heating versus potential for southeast winds (force 4-5) aiding slight warming; model spread on rain persistence could tip the highest observed temperature between 25-27°C, with daily HKO updates through April 7 resolving key variables like visibility and storm surge risk.
