Recent ensemble and deterministic model guidance from major forecasting centers indicates a daytime maximum near 27°C in Milan on September 16, supported by light southeasterly flow under a weakening ridge and modest low-level moisture. Afternoon convective development, with 40-60% rain probabilities in some runs, introduces uncertainty that could suppress the peak by a degree or two, keeping 28°C a close second in trader pricing. Current surface observations on September 15 showing highs of 25-28°C provide a warm baseline, while climatological September averages near 24°C underscore the mild anomaly. Updated model cycles and local meteorological agency briefings ahead of the 24-hour window remain the key near-term catalysts.
