This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 2 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=rpll If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event which there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Trader sentiment for Manila’s lowest temperature on September 2, 2026, centers on 27°C as the leading outcome (55.5% implied probability), reflecting broad model agreement on an overnight low near that value amid typical early-September monsoon conditions.** Forecasts from multiple sources, including hourly runs valid as of September 1, show temperatures bottoming out around 26–28°C (roughly 79–82°F) in the early morning hours of September 2, driven by persistent cloud cover, high humidity near 85–90%, and southwest monsoon flow that limits radiational cooling. Dew points remaining in the mid-20s°C sustain elevated nighttime readings, while scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms—common during the peak rainy season—further moderate temperature drops. Historical September averages for Manila lows hover near 25°C, but current conditions and short-term guidance point slightly warmer. The clustered probabilities around 25–31°C (all near 45%) capture the inherent uncertainty in tropical overnight minima, where small shifts in timing of rain or wind can alter the exact low by 1–2°C. Outcomes below 24°C carry low odds (under 8%) because sustained clear skies or stronger northerly flow would be required to produce such cooling, which current atmospheric patterns do not support. Updated model runs and official agency guidance over the next 24 hours will be the key catalysts that could refine these market-implied odds.
