**PAN leads trader expectations for second place in Mexico’s 2027 Chamber of Deputies election because multiple national polls conducted through August and early September 2026 show it consistently ahead of other opposition parties in raw voting intention.** Morena remains the clear frontrunner at 33–46 percent, while PAN registers 11–18 percent, ahead of PRI (8–13 percent) and MC (roughly 9–12 percent) in most surveys. The PAN’s edge stems from repeated top ranking among non-Morena options, modest membership growth, and its established national infrastructure, even after the national PAN-PRI alliance ended in 2025. Recent polling also highlights a large undecided bloc (often 20–28 percent), which opposition parties hope could shift toward them. Traders appear to price in these patterns, giving PAN a strong implied probability for second place while assigning lower odds to PRI, PVEM, MC, and the governing coalition partners.
