The first round of the 2026 midterm Georgia Senate election will be held on November 3, 2026. A candidate may win the election “outright” in the first round by winning more than 50% of the valid votes in the first round. This market will resolve to “Yes” if any candidate wins the 2026 midterm Georgia Senate election outright in the first round. Otherwise, it will resolve to “No”. If the results of the first round of the specified election are not known definitively by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the Georgia Senate election. The two-candidate general election matchup between Democratic incumbent Jon Ossoff and Republican nominee Mike Collins, set for November 3, underpins the elevated probability assigned to an outright winner. Recent July polling averages place Ossoff between 47% and 56% against Collins near 43%, reflecting a modest but consistent edge that leaves limited margin for third-party or write-in support to split the vote below 50%. With both parties’ primaries concluded and Collins securing the nomination after the June runoff, the race has consolidated around these two contenders. Historical patterns in Georgia Senate contests and the absence of major late-breaking developments or significant independent candidacies further align with trader consensus that one candidate is likely to clear a majority without triggering the December 1 runoff.
