Recent forecasts from the China Meteorological Administration and international models indicate a high near 28–29°C for Shanghai on September 11, driven by persistent cloud cover, light northeast winds, and moderate humidity that limit daytime heating. This aligns with typical early-September conditions in the Yangtze River Delta, where average highs reach about 28°C amid transitional monsoon influences. Light showers or drizzle possible in the morning may further cap temperatures, while any clearing could allow a brief push toward 30°C. Trader consensus reflected in the market prices closely tracks these model outputs, with 28°C and 29°C as the clear modal outcomes given the narrow spread in guidance. Official daily maximum readings from the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau will resolve the market.
