Forecast consensus from official sources like Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration and global models points to a maximum of 29–30°C in Taipei on September 10, driven by persistent northeast monsoon flow, widespread cloud cover, and scattered showers that limit daytime heating. These conditions align with late-summer patterns where humidity and reduced solar insolation typically cap highs near or slightly below the September average of 30°C. Recent model runs show limited spread, with most guidance converging on peak readings in the late morning to early afternoon before any rain intensifies, supporting the market’s heavy weighting toward 29–31°C outcomes while leaving modest room for slight upward revisions if skies clear more than expected.
