The closely matched market probabilities reflect the narrow range of National Weather Service guidance projecting overnight lows around 76°F for Austin on August 30 under mostly clear skies and light southerly flow. Persistent high dew points near 72°F limit nocturnal radiative cooling typical of late-summer central Texas, while a dominant high-pressure ridge suppresses cloud cover and maintains elevated minima above the long-term August average. Minor ensemble spread in wind speed or residual moisture could nudge the daily minimum by 1–2°F, with updated model runs and official NWS briefings on August 29–30 providing the next key data points for resolution.
