Persistent thunderstorm activity and high atmospheric moisture are anchoring Miami's overnight lows near 76°F for September 23, aligning with National Weather Service forecasts showing a 76°F minimum amid 70-90% rain chances and south winds near 5 mph. Elevated dew points around 74-75°F and extensive cloud cover from the subtropical pattern limit radiative cooling, keeping temperatures above the seasonal average low of about 74°F while preventing sharp drops. Model consensus across short-range guidance supports mid-70s readings, which explains the market's tight clustering around 74-79°F bins and the low implied odds for sub-72°F or 80°F+ outcomes. Updated model runs and any overnight observations through September 22 will refine the exact minimum before resolution.
