Current forecasts from Environment Canada and multiple models indicate clear skies and light northerly winds for Toronto on September 25, supporting an overnight low near 8–11 °C through radiational cooling under high pressure. Recent days have seen similar clear, cool conditions with minima dropping to 5–8 °C, aligning with the approach of a drier air mass. The market’s balanced pricing of 5 °C or below versus 15 °C or higher at 42 % each reflects uncertainty in exact cooling rates and any late shifts in cloud cover or wind, while narrower buckets around 8–10 °C capture the consensus range. Historical September 25 lows average 11.9 °C, so traders weigh potential model spread against the stable high-pressure setup expected to persist.
