This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of Michigan, including the Office of the Secretary of State and the government of Genesee County. The Michigan U.S. Senate race remains a toss-up heading into November, with recent statewide polls showing Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed holding narrow leads or statistical ties against Republican Mike Rogers. Genesee County, a Democratic-leaning area anchored by Flint, features competitive voter blocs where turnout among younger voters, union households, and Black communities could determine the local margin. El-Sayed’s primary win consolidated progressive support after a divisive contest, while Rogers benefits from name recognition and stronger performance among independents and White voters in suburban and rural pockets. Limited county-specific polling and shifting national dynamics keep trader probabilities tightly clustered near 50 percent across outcomes. Key catalysts that could widen gaps include upcoming debates, fall advertising on issues such as healthcare and the economy, and final voter mobilization efforts through early voting.
