James Talarico holds a commanding 92% implied probability among traders to win Fort Bend County in the 2026 Texas U.S. Senate contest, reflecting the county’s diverse suburban electorate and recent Democratic gains in the Houston metro area. Talarico’s primary victory, substantial fundraising edge, and polling strength among Hispanic voters and independents have reinforced this positioning ahead of the November general election against Ken Paxton. Statewide polls show a much tighter race, underscoring how local demographics can diverge from broader trends. Late developments such as major scandals, health events, or shifts in turnout patterns among key voting blocs could still alter the county outcome before election day.
