Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a likely high near 89°F for Miami on August 29, with easterly flow, high humidity, and afternoon thunderstorms expected after 2 p.m. that limit peak heating through cloud cover and evaporative cooling. This aligns with the market’s leading 90-91°F bin while supporting modest probabilities for 92-93°F if convection is delayed or weaker. Typical late-August climatology (average high ~90°F) and persistent instability from sea-breeze convergence reinforce the narrow range around 88-91°F, with lower odds for extremes given current steering patterns and lack of anomalous ridging. Updated model runs and NHC briefings tomorrow morning will refine timing of storms and any last adjustments to the maximum.
