Official National Weather Service forecasts indicate Denver’s overnight low on August 29 will reach the mid-60s °F amid partly to mostly cloudy skies, isolated thunderstorms, and light southerly winds, consistent with late-summer climatology under weak high pressure and above-average dew points. Model consensus from recent runs shows minimal cooling potential, with any convective activity likely limiting radiative cooling and keeping the minimum near 64–65 °F rather than the lower outcomes priced near 30–32 % in the market. Warmer 66–67 °F scenarios would require stronger mixing or delayed cloud cover, while sub-60 °F readings remain unlikely without an unexpected frontal passage. Updated NWS guidance and local observations through the evening of August 28 will refine these thresholds ahead of market resolution.
