This market will resolve based on the "Total delays within, into, or out of the United States yesterday" figure on FlightAware when it is checked at 12:00 PM ET on the day after March 30, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is https://www.flightaware.com/live/cancelled/yesterday, specifically the "Total delays within, into, or out of the United States yesterday" figure on the "FlightAware.com live flight delay and cancellation statistics for yesterday" table when checked at the specified time. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the resolution source becomes permanently unavailable, or is otherwise unavailable at the resolution time up until 6 PM ET on that date, market will resolve to the lowest available bracket.Trader consensus on US flight delays for March 30 remains tightly contested, with under 5,000 (41.5%) edging over 8,000 (40%), reflecting uncertainty after mid-March storms that spiked daily disruptions above 12,000 amid spring break peaks and partial government shutdown impacts on FAA controllers and TSA staffing. Recent averages hover around 5,600 delays, bolstered by recovery from blizzards and ground stops like the March 13 DC chemical odor incident, but forecasts warn of high winds in New York-area airports (EWR, JFK, LGA) and Philadelphia (PHL). Elevated return travel volumes post-spring break could amplify issues, while clearer weekend weather models or resolved staffing pressures might favor lower bins, versus new thunderstorms or outages pushing toward higher tallies.[[1]](https://www.faa.gov/newsroom/faa-daily-air-traffic-report)[[2]](https://kesq.com/news/national-world/cnn-national/2026/03/23/tracking-us-flight-delays-and-cancellations-in-charts)[[3]](https://www.traveltourister.com/news/spring-break-2026-final-report-card-worst-aviation-week-modern-us-history-51000-disruptions-7-days-10-records-broken-minneapolis-ghost-town-ohare-1000-cancellations-366-tsa-quit-55-percent-callout-spirit-tiktok-viral-airline-ceos-congress-food-banks-tsa)
