This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Helsinki Vantaa Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 10 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=efhk If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Trader consensus in this market strongly favors 12°C as the lowest temperature in Helsinki on September 10, 2026, with 90% implied probability.** This reflects the latest observational data and short-range forecast consensus showing overnight lows stabilizing near that level rather than falling further. Current conditions feature widespread cloud cover, light rain or showers, and moderate northwesterly winds around 4–7 m/s, which limit radiational cooling under clear skies. Helsinki-Vantaa airport reports and model guidance (including GFS-based outputs) indicate temperatures holding in the 13–15°C range through the evening before settling near 11–12°C overnight. Historical September 10 averages place the typical minimum around 10.2°C, but the present synoptic setup—mild Atlantic-influenced air and persistent moisture—has kept readings several degrees above that baseline. The narrow 10°C and 11°C options at 10% each capture residual model uncertainty or slight downward revisions, while probabilities below 9°C or above 13°C remain negligible (<0.2% each) given the absence of any sharp cold advection or clear-sky window that would drive extremes. Upcoming resolution will hinge on official overnight minimum readings from the primary Helsinki station; any final adjustment in model consensus or real-time observations could still shift the exact value within the 11–12°C band before the period closes.
