Recent forecasts from models including GFS and ECMWF indicate a cooling trend for Istanbul on September 13, with daytime highs most likely reaching 24–26°C amid increasing cloud cover, scattered showers, and northerly winds of 10–15 km/h. This follows warmer conditions earlier in the week and aligns with typical mid-September climatology, where maximum temperatures average near 23–25°C. The market's emphasis on 22–23°C outcomes reflects trader weighting of ensemble spreads that allow for greater cooling if precipitation develops earlier or more persistently than baseline runs suggest. Resolution hinges on official daily maximum readings, with fresh model updates expected overnight providing the final inputs before markets close.
